silent SCREAM!!!
Could have been doctor, lawyer, president, whatever.
Could have been plumber, carpenter, any laborer;
Maybe, given Fate, a thief or, even, drug addict,
But, impossible now, due abortionist's edict.
Because of abortion, this life will never know breath
Although some say not life; but, if not, is it in death,
For, genetic matter is one or the other, but
Neither is impossible to imagine, then what?
If lineage is sound, this being's genes would remain
The same, barring mutation, until it's life would wane
And, if genes are life's essence, then must this not be life?
Given this, what right to kill it has the surgeon's knife.
Four months in development, this being does appear
To be human with arms and legs; no doubt, mankind's peer
In worthiness and comparable to any man
In soul's value; maybe, more, considering it's clan.
Not by rape or incest was it conceived but by choice;
Therefore, this creature was in love and all should rejoice
Over the mystery involved in this creation
Which has stayed the same since universe's formation.
Some would say the world is overpopulated, so
We have a moral right to terminate unborn foe
Whose mouth would add to five billion the number to feed
While millions today do not even have needed seed.
Well, the truth be known, there is plenty of food around,
The hunger that's present due to politics unsound
And to place the blame for hunger upon the unborn,
Tempts almighty God and foreshadows Gabrielle`s horn.
Regardless of belief, whether life begins or not
At conception, if truth be good and compassion sought,
Who, in God's name, could find something worthwhile
to redeem
In dismemberment of body during silent SCREAM! ! ! ?
