Why does love pain so much
When left without it's touch'?
Where once in joy now dead
Which intended to wed
Who, "I do", was not said.
When does pain disappear?
Where one lives without tear
Which encapsulates heart
Who was lost from the start;
Why live when love apart'?
Where find solace in life
Which is covered in strife?
Who can survive the test
"Why?", the ultimate best,
When all's struggling at rest?
Which is better not done
Who to love or else none?
Why must the choice be�
� � � � � � � made
When either one is laid
Where the sorrowful fade?
Who, searching truth, forsakes
"Why?" for much higher stakes?
When will it ever end,
Where good will never bend,
Which, once bent, never breaks
